apple shortcut :: ｢ shrink IMGs ｣ no API version
This shortcut uses native on-device tools to resize image and/or to compress images. You can select multiple images, all of them will be processed with same proportions and the output format (JPG or PNG) will also remain the same for the whole batch you are processing.
NO PNG COMPRESSION, NO API DEPENDENCY
This version of the ｢ shrink IMGs ｣ can't compress PNGs. If you want to have this functionality, consider getting an API version (requires TinyPNG API key, 500 images per month can be processed for free).
｢ shrink IMGs ｣ API versionUSAGE:
1. select images and share to the shortcut OR run shortcut and select images
2. select the required width (height will be proportionally scaled)
3. select format: JPG will reasonably compress image, PNG will not compress the image
4. provide name for every image (by default it will output current date and time to make every filename unique)
5. select folder on you iPhone or Mac where to store the image
6. optionally select to save images to the photos library on iCloud
