apple shortcut :: ｢ shrink IMGs ｣ API version
This shortcut uses native on-device tools to resize image and then uses TinyPNG API to compress images. You can select multiple images, all of them will be processed with same proportions and the output format (JPEG or PNG) will also remain the same.
API KEYS HANDLING:
This shortcut is made compatible with ｢ API storage ｣ shortcut, which is able to handle your keys with Apple Notes.
｢ API storage ｣USAGE:
0. You need an API key in order to compress images. You can get your key here: https://tinypng.com/developers
1. select images and share to the shortcut OR run shortcut and select images
2. select the required width (height will be proportionally scaled)
3. select format (API allows compress both JPEGs and PNGs)
4. provide name for every image (by default it will output current date and time to make every filename unique)
5. select folder on you iPhone or Mac where to store the image
6. optionally select to save images to the photos library on iCloud
